Secret Santa 2023

YES! It happened!

And it happened in November because everyone was expecting it to be in December.

How did we do it? First, we had to decide if we wanted to participate (obviously). Then, we had to complete aโ€”guess what? Correct, a questionnaire:) You know how much I like them.

After participants said what they wanted for Secret Santaโ€”an amount of $25 with transport included was considered fair by everyoneโ€”we had to draw the name of our winner.

Are you curious to know what each one received?

Me too, even if I already know.

Let’s take people in alphabetical orderโ€”read that again, Oraldo, alphabetical order!

Alex Cloanta wanted a lot of things for the house, like a washing machine, a dryer, and so on. I think he converted the $25 wrong in Romanian RON. That’s why he got a phone glass cover from his Secret Santa and that’s it ๐Ÿ™‚

Alex, next time, think better!

Alexandra couldn’t decide. She let her Secret Santa decide for herself, as the list provided was what she didn’t want to receive. So she received makeup. That made her wonder: Do I look so bad that I need to cover my face? No, I didn’t ask a poor guy to go online in the world of make-up to buy me some, as a worried colleague expressed his concerns in a private message.

Andrei wrote: Anything related to technology, digital stuff, football, or F1. You’d think this might be an easy list. But guess what? It’s not. Why? Because Andrei already had a lot of similar things at home, and it’s hard to guess what he doesn’t already own. That meant close people were asked questions. His Secret Santa had to struggle a bit, but he nailed it! Look how happy Andrei is with his new toy!

Cosmin was very serious about his list and knew from the beginning what he wanted: a power bank. And look how nice it fits there, next to his laptop! No selfie though ๐Ÿ™ Maybe next year!

Dragos was all about books! What a serious guy! And how lucky to meet his Secret Santa in person! He got to meet Gabi in person, so double win (for both of them). Next time you can ask for something funny, Dragos!

Gabi Costil knew from the beginning what he wanted: boy toys! His list contained: a Bluetooth portable speaker, office accessories, and so on. The selfie he made when he got the gifts was with his hat on, to cover his hair. So of course we had to vote to make him send us a selfie without it. So he had to comply ๐Ÿ™‚ If you Slack him and doesn’t answer, please insist. He is probably playing with his new toy!

Marius wanted to donate his gift to kids in need. Don’t worry Marius, you wanted to make a very nice thing and, in return, you received something awesome. What? you might ask. Marius got his own small drop barometer in a glass. Now, he has his own storm in a drop ๐Ÿ™‚ Is it working as it should, Marius?

Mihail was very specific with his wishlist. He knew from the beginning he wanted to change the air in his room and his gift was about fragrances. Curious enough? Ok, I’ll tell you. He got a super fancy scented candle. Also, he was lucky because he met his Secret Santa as the gift was received in person. How lucky! Look at him, so happy! Pumpkin apple scent! Make sure you don’t eat it!

Oraldo it’s your turn! He gave a generic list, saying any gifts are very good! That is why he had to wait for a long time. All good things take time. Lucky him, he could meet his Secret Santa in Bucharest (I told you he couldn’t go to Albania due to obvious reasons!) He got an Enter stress button and a pistol to shoot his morning alarm. How awesome!

That’s it!

Next time I hope more people will participate. If you want a Secret Santa February edition, just let me know!
